Description
About artist: A student at NCAD and the Slade School of Fine Art in the early 1980ies, Andrew Folan was influenced by Viennese Actionism in a curious combination with British Conceptual Photography and Photomontage. He works freely with print and sculpture, interrogating digital image realities in the context of the analogue. More recently he employs images and objects, as wells as rapid prototypes in an interventionist analysis of socio-political subjects. He works freely with print, photo-montage and sculpture.
He is member of the RHA.
