About artist: Visual artist and sculptor from Honduras. Acrylic and oil is very important in the development of my artistic work, but I also like to experiment with other media such as natural pigments. I have developed multiple exhibitions in my country and participations in countries like Italy, Poland and Ireland. I have also participated in sculpture symposiums and in the area of art teaching.
About artwork: This piece belongs to a series that mainly narrates how my sexuality has been manifesting itself over time, starting from that first desire or stimuli in childhood to the different situations that present themselves to me today, but also with figuration I seek to generate emotional and psychological reflections based on the interaction between the individual and the surrounding space, this is evidenced through colour and gesture, where these play an important role in each piece offering us an atmosphere that allows us to expand our ideas and feelings beyond the edge of the canvas.
