About artist: I am a Dublin-based artist and educator who blends printmaking techniques with painting, exploring the layers of landscape and social narratives. My work delves into the interplay between printed materials and paint, reflecting contemporary image-making and the constructed environment. Central to my practice is a deep connection to place, especially urban spaces and their relationship with the land. My art examines themes of memory, social dynamics, and subcultural motifs, creating visual narratives that reflect the materiality and symbolism of urban culture. My work is grounded in rigorous research, capturing the essence of the urban milieu. I graduated from the National College of Art and Design, where I received the NCAD Postgraduate Scholarship (2015–2017). My works have been exhibited at The VUE Art Fair (2018) and my debut exhibition, “BOMB,” with Hang Tough Contemporary in 2021. My art is featured in prominent collections, including the OPW, AXA, and UCD. Currently, I serve as an assistant lecturer in Fine Art Print at NCAD, emphasising the importance of printmaking in my practice and its educational significance. I am committed to nurturing the next generation of artists while continuing to expand the boundaries of my creative work.
