About artist: Jana Bulochova is a lens-based artist from Lithuania, currently living in Dublin. Through the creation of work, she demonstrates both abilities as a visual artist and as a screenwriter. With each project or shoot, techniques and tools may change, but perspective, drama, and sensuality remain. A distinctive characteristic of my work is its ability to place literal as well as ambiguous compositions, alternately deconstructing and reconstructing to provoke the curiosity of a viewer. As a huge fan of postmodern and avant-garde art, Jana is not afraid to experiment with the portrayal of artworks and creating artistic challenges for herself.
