About artist: John Fitzsimons is a painter and printmaker from Dublin, born in 1974. His work deals with an aspiration of balance and harmony within society and our destructive relationship with the earth. ‘The Theft of Time’ in 2023 with the SO fine art gallery was his sixth solo painting exhibition. John graduated from the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Design, Art and Technology (IADT) with an honours degree in fine art in 2000. He is a member of the Graphic Studio Dublin. John editions fine art prints for Stoney Road Press and teaches a painting course with the VEC. He has been invited to do a residency with the Ballenglen Arts Foundation in 2026.
