About artist: Kelly is a mixed media artist based in Milan, Italy. Her work is characterised by strong and vibrant colour schemes evoking warmth and depth. She has an immensely varied body of work, however, in recent years she has concentrated on female portraits, displaying their fragility, strength and telling their stories through sometimes deceptively simple, abstract line work, while also using mixed media and poetry to connect with the observer.
About artwork: This piece was a play with large shapes and primary colours. I used not only acrylic but oil pastel to give some intensity to its simple perspective.
