About artist: Martina Furlong was born in Co.Wexford, Ireland, where she now resides after many years living in London, UK. She received a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art and Design in 1996.
About artwork: This artwork is one of the pieces from Martina's Earth Rainbow series. It is mostly imaginary but is inspired by Hook lighthouse in Co.Wexford, which is a scene I have painted numerous times over the years. The artwork was made using ink pens on fabriano paper, with water added, to allow the ink to run down the paper. Signed on reverse
