About artist: I am a photographer and photojournalist based in Dublin, but travel around the world to capture people and places. I have worked with Al Jazeera, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Irish and Sunday Independent as well as many commercial and private clients. My images tell a story through a documentary style photojournalistic lens.
About artwork: This image was taken on the descent from the Riesenferner Mountain in Northern Italy. It looks like a scene from a Hitchcock movie from the 1950s. I thought it would make a great print. In the image are some of the world's greatest mountaineers sliding down rather snowy terrain.
