I have always had a great love for Art/Design having worked in the Visual Display field for many years. I have maintained a particular love and passion for Abstract Art . I am a keen photographer & enjoy continuing my love of creating through silversmithing & Jewellery Design .All these facets of Art have greatly encouraged my painting style to evolve over the years bringing a concious awareness of shape , colour & form .

"URBAN EDGE"

Cubist inspired abstract Cityscape from my running series Urban Visions . My great love of concrete tones of smouldering greys & blacks , layer upon layer revealing hidden depths of underpainting.

This textured Mixed Media piece pops with the vibrancies of the Ochres & burnt sienna which strengthens & also lends itself to this almost Urban decay theme .

Bold signiture crossover lines frames this composition. These directional lines are representative of the cranes of our construction industry which at many times i feel epitomises the absolute obstruction of most Urban landscapes .
