ABOUT NICK

Art has been my passion from a young age and I have a strong desire to create. After 30 years working with some of the best in hospitality in the UK & Ireland &TV appearances in both ITV's Hells Kitchen, RTE's Masterchef Ireland, I decided it was time to dedicate myself exclusively to my other love ART.

A lot of love flows into my artwork. I think that is why abstract art in general appeals to me so much, because the outcome is not fixed during the creative process. Painting allows me to escape from the world. Restaurants, everyday visuals, colours, music, places and peoples clothing are sources of inspiration to me.

I enjoy working with bright primary colours and I mainly paint with acrylics and oil sticks, coupled by collage and décollage on canvas, board and paper.
