Description:: Andrej Getman is a visual artist who was born in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Since 2005 he lives and works in Dublin. He holds a BA in Fine Art and a Master’s in Fine Art - Painting from the National College of Art and Design. He explores the themes of urbanisation, socio-political injustice & modern culture. Influenced by his immediate environment; the inner-city Dublin landscape, he primarily works using oils on canvas and mixed media. His work is held in private collections in Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium and France.
