Description:: Artist Bio: Aodán Feeney is a self-taught figurative realist painter from Galway. Through his paintings he aims to express personal experiences and emotions, touching on themes of anxiety, vulnerability, isolation and introspection. Drawn to the depth and vitality of oil paint as a medium, he looks to develop a personal visual language that evokes atmosphere and expression. The work contains an intimate narrative quality which seeks to strike a balance of applying technical command and give form to intangible and internalised emotion.
