Description:: "Mná Arann" depicts two women in the traditional dress of Inis Mór, co. Galway, sharing a kiss beneath a starry sky, taking inspiration from folklore and vintage postcards. Tadhg Ó Ciardha is a queer Irish artist whose work predominantly deals with themes of queer heritage and the history of mental health in Ireland. In 2019 he received an Art Factory development grant from the Complex Dublin with Comorbid Productions. He is a member of the Aerach Aiteach Gaelach collective, creating artworks for their 2021 Fringe Show, "Idir Mise agus Craiceann do Chluaise." He has a degree in folklore and drama, and during his time in UCD, studied drawing with the RHA and UCD Parity Studios.
