About artist: Daniel Mc Keon is a Visual Artist who's main practice is as a painter. For over 20 years he has worked from a studio in Henrietta Street Dublin. He went to Dun Laoghaire School of Art 1997/79 and was an early member 1997/1983 Visual Arts Centre Dublin. He curated 2 Multimedia exhibition Response and Flux. He has exhibted in Solo and many group exhibition also UK Germany USA. His work is in many private collection. January 2022 he got married to Dmitri his partner of over 25 years.
About artwork: The gravity series of works are chromatically vibrant. They explore the physicality and controlled use of oil paint under the influence of gravity which retain a sense of time and history in the process that each layer of oil paint takes to fully become dry
