About artist: I am recently one of the winners from the open call winter print exhibition 2022 at Hang Tough Contemporary, Dublin. My work has been selected as cover image for the Sligo Music series for 2022 and 2023. I have been awarded artist residency on a couple of occasions at Cill Rialaig, Co. Kerry, 2007 and 2022. Other achievements in the last two years are being the winner of the Enlighten 5 artist group initiative 2021 and runner up on multiple other submissions to the same project with Hambly and H
About artwork: This is a painting I submitted to a gallery in Northern Ireland back in 2020 during lockdown with the theme as 'Love'. It was painted in 2019 in oils on deep edge Italian fine grain canvas.
