About artist: I am a creative who enjoys many mediums such as oils & encaustic. I love making jewellery and fashion pieces
About artwork: This encaustic pieces has a beautiful textured depth that invites the onlooker to see many and multiple abstract scenes. When I was painting it i thought of the wonderful seas in Ibiza. It is so difficult to capture the depth of colour and texture of an encaustic piece and I will drop it into Outhouse where it can be viewed before the auction. Encaustic is pigmented bees wax and should not be covered with glass. I have framed the piece and it is wonderfully shiny and vibrant. once or twice a year it may need to be buffed, gently with a polyester cloth or a old pair of tights. This will bring back the shine of the piece.
