About artist: Emma Scully is a professional printmaker with a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art Print from the National College Of Art and Design. Her multi-disciplinary work presents itself through the mediums of printmaking, sculpture, performance, and textiles. Her recent project 'I Will Serviva', collaborates with people experiencing homelessness to produce a hand-printed, hand-stitched patchwork quilt. The work aims to shine a light on the imagination and creativity of those experiencing homelessness while raising money for The Peter McVerry Trust.
About artwork: Dreamcatcher' is a hard-ground copper plate etching with aquatint. The print is from the body of work 'I Will Serviva' which collaborates with people experiencing homelessness in Dublin city. The imagery on the vase has been taken directly from 'dream drawings' produced by people experiencing homelessness.
