About artist: I am a creative interested in oil, encaustic, life drawing, jewellery making & fashion. I love creativing and use many mediums to do this.
About artwork: Jordana is a life model and I took the original watercolour drawing and embedded it into this encaustic piece. Encaustic is ancient medium using pigmented bees wax and the finish is shiny and beautifully textured. As the medium needs air, please do not cover with glass. I have framed the piece I am donating 50% of the sale to outhouse and the other 50% of the Sale to Jordana the life model/contortionist/aerialist whom is saving for facial feminisation surgery. It Is difficult to capture the depth of colour of an encaustic piece in a photograph, It is much more vibrant and textured in person. I will bring it before the auction to Outhouse and it can be seen there. normal retail price is 165 Euro
