About artist: Siobhán Moore is an abstract landscape artist living close to the sea in Galway. Finding endless inspiration in her local surroundings for the seascapes that have permeated her practice, she has moved into Abstraction of late. Experimentation in new materials and techniques have influenced a letting go of traditional forms. Her aim is to convey a feeling of time and place, while allowing the viewer a sense of her surroundings, a sense of space, one in which they may imagine themselves.
About artwork: "Time and time again" was one of a series of encaustic paintings inspired by the Burren and surrounds. A timeless place, the painting hopes to evoke it's texture and unique, age old landscape and sea vistas.
