About artist: Louise shearer is a professional artist living and working in Brittas Bay in wicklow, Ireland. After studying Fine Art in IADT she went on to study psychology in UCD and holds an honours degree in the History of Art. Her work is sold all over the world and she is represented by galleries at home and abroad. Her work is categorised as abstract but often elements of the landscape are represented. Colour, balance and a rhythmic sense of fun are often used to describe her work. Louise is inspired by the natural landscape, the elements and her love of poetry, music and literature. Often these are obvious parts of her work, other times a more subtle hidden element .
About artwork: This is a large piece it playful and expressive and has a careful intuitive balance of colour, value and markings. It is based on music and the feeling of peace music can evoke in the soul.
