About artist: Dorota Konchevska is an audio-visual artist living and creating in Ireland for the past 23 years. Her work engages etching, mixed media installations and cross genre projects. In her recent work she is aiming to enhance artistic expression and contemporary take on the human body and its ephemeral, fragile qualities.
About artwork: I have always been interested in probing complex relationship between nature and human emotions, questions of gender, loneliness. It is within condition of disorientation and searching for a sense of belonging that I analyze a multi-layered relationship between nature and human emotions.
