Description
About artist: Conor Horgan is an acclaimed photographer, writer and award-winning filmmaker. Post-State, a solo exhibition of his landscapes and found objects, was held in the Royal Hibernian Academy in October 2022.
His films include One Hundred Mornings (2011), Deep End Dance (2010) and The Queen of Ireland (2015)
Recent works have been shown in the Rua Red Open (2023), PhotoIreland Festival (2022), Museum of Photography (2022), the Royal Ulster Academy Annual Open (2021, 2022), Highlanes Gallery (2023), the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual (2016, 2022, 2023) and the Ballinglen Arts Foundation’s first Biennale (2023).
Two of his works are in the OPW State Art Collection, three are in the collection of the Little Museum of Dublin and many others are in private collections. He has recently been commissioned by the T.S. Eliot Foundation to produce a limited edition print to commemorate the centenary of The Waste Land.
