About artist: Niamh Flanagan graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin and is now a member of Graphic Studio Dublin where she also works as Programme Manager and Master Printer. In 2020 she was the recipient of the Graham Wilkinson Print Award at the RHA 191st Annual Exhibition. Her solo exhibition 'thin places of escape and return' took place at SO Fine Art Editions in October 2022.
About artwork: Niamh Flanagan, drawing from her memories of walking through the glacier-scored Alps, creates a fantastical crystalline mountain range. The undulations and textures of nature are meticulously rendered in linear clarity and are accentuated with patterned tone.
